ZOLL LAUNCHES NEW RESPOND APP TO IMPROVE COMMUNICATION AND NAVIGATION AMONG EMS DISPATCHERS, CREWS, AND CLINICAL STAFF

OCTOBER 15, 2018—CHELMSFORD, MASS.—ZOLL^® Medical Corporation, an Asahi Kasei Group Company that manufactures medical devices and related software solutions, today announced the release of Respond™, an IOS/Android app that offers EMS dispatchers, crews, and clinical staff at receiving facilities communication options, such as live chat, Push-to-talk, and live streaming video. Respond is now available for purchase.

Respond simplifies the dispatch communication process and eliminates the need for expensive hardware by utilizing mobile app technology. With Respond, EMS agencies can cut out unnecessary phone calls and directly connect field crews to receiving facilities. Navigation is improved through Google Maps. Respond allows dispatchers to communicate with crews more efficiently and supervisors can stay informed by monitoring trip and fleet status online.
